About the college
Nagina Devi Teacher's Training College was established in 2016 at Sukulchak, Karauna, in Jehanabad district. It is an unaided institution managed by the Swami Vivekanand Trust, which Dr. Anil Kumar Singh founded in 2010.
The college is recognised by the Eastern Regional Committee of the National Council for Teacher Education (ERC, NCTE). Its B.Ed. course is affiliated to Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University, Patna, and its D.El.Ed. course runs under the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna.
Its main purpose is to give teacher training to deserving students, especially those from poor families, while admitting students of every caste and creed.

To train well-motivated teachers, who will be intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired, in order to become instruments of social transformation, and to find new ways and means to teaching-learning process.
Our vision
To build an egalitarian society based on justice, freedom and harmony through our teacher-trainees, extension service and research.
